I think Millerna is finally healing physically, but she still seems so sad. I wonder if she'll ever recover from that.

She's...not doing as badly as she was before, at least she stays awake longer now. And she's eating, the doctor says she needs to put on some weight. But the melancholy...and the fact that she's made us worry so is making it worse. I know we can't snap her out of it so quickly, but will it ever fade?
She's always been serious, but it's been so long since I've seen a real smile from her.

Sometimes I still can't get over how much David's changed...he's such a devoted husband, even when it drives Ann-Marie crazy how protective he's being of her.
I feel a little better after visiting them. Maybe Mother was right, sitting there praying and worrying isn't going to make Millerna recover faster...we know she will and that's enough.
